Last week the Year 8 Canterbury Quad tournament was held and Canterbury Regions (basically the Canterbury Country team) was unbeaten in their three 50 over matches. Some tidy bowling was backed up with some excellent batting.

Christchurch B 138/9 (S Abbot 22, F Macintosh 23, E Paterson 3/16, M Power 2/18, N Cook 2/11, M Carston 1/16, J Mariu 1/13) lost to Canterbury Regions 140/2 (W Hamilton 54*, M Power 51*) at Dudley Park
South and Mid Canterbury Combined 154/8 (C Grace 67*, O Redfern 33, W Wroe 5/30, J Mariu 1/16, E Paterson 1/13, M Carston 1/14 lost to Canterbury Regions 155/2 (J Mariu 58*, E Paterson 45) at Leeston Domain
